MMOG/LE Assessment Tips l Consolidating Sites Into One Ecosystem

MMOG/LE Help Desk

MMOG/LE Help Desk

It is strongly recommended that organizations that have multiple facilities submitting MMOG/LE Assessments only have ONE parent account for the MMOG/LE web portal.

Once the parent account has been created, each facility will still need to purchase an individual license that includes security controls at the site level. Our records indicate that several parent companies have more than one account because each facility purchased its own license, creating separate ecosystems across one enterprise. By using this approach, organizations will be unable to take advantage of pending releases that will allow them to download, review, and analyze data across the enterprise. Furthermore, as these new features are released, customers may request consolidated reports, which suppliers will have to complete manually if the ecosystems are not consolidated.

As part of the MMOG/LE help desk support, BASICS will assist organizations with the consolidation process.  However, this is only offered as a free complimentary service for the 2021-2022 assessment year. With each year that passes, the process becomes more complicated because more sites and assessments will need to be consolidated. Subsequently, organizations could be subjected to a consulting fee beginning with the 2022-2023 assessment year. Therefore, we encourage suppliers to take advantage of this service as soon as possible.

Please be advised that this service is available by appointment only and, depending on the size and complexity of the organization, the consolidation process could be a multi-day process.

To book an appointment:
    • Click here to go to the bookings page
      1. Under “Select Service,” select “Consolidate MMOG/LE Ecosystems.”
      2. Select a date in the calendar that is displayed.  Once selected the available times will be displayed to the right.
      3. Select a time.  Please note that the time zones can be changed below the calendar.
      4. Complete the remainder of the fields at the bottom of the form.

    • Confirm that you have reviewed and agree to the privacy policies before submitting.
    • You will receive a notification confirming your appointment.  Please contact the MMOG/LE help desk at mmogle_help_desk@basics-llc.com if you do not receive the confirmation.

MMOG/LE Assessment Tips | Transfer Responses from Previous Assessment

Most customers require the MMOG/LE Assessment to be updated annually.  However, that does not mean you have to start with a blank assessment.  You can export the previous assessment and re-import it for the current year’s assessment. The instructions are provided below.

Please note that this feature was provided for convenience, not to bypass the assessment process for the current year. Successful businesses are rarely static. The world is constantly changing, and companies have to find ways to adapt, thrive, and remain competitive. The key to staying competitive is to remain agile. It’s essential to continually seek insights into what does or doesn’t work and remain open to making improvements to their operations. They must strike a balance that promotes standardization while also providing space to breathe and grow. And one way to approach this is by committing to annual assessments to ensure the company continues to achieve its organizational goals and objectives by maintaining industry standards and best practices while also focusing on its long-term sustainability and competitiveness.

  • Open the MMOG/LE Assessment from the previous year.
  • Download the assessment using the fourth icon in the Toolbox.

MMOG/LE Assessment Tips l Business Functions & Responsibilities

The MMOG/LE Assessment should be championed by the Supply Chain, however, it is not uncommon for individual criteria to be led by and assigned to other business functions within the organization.

Once assigned, the organization can then use the Advanced Filters located in the Toolbox within the Assessment to filter by Business function or Responsibility.

Business Function – Allows an organization to record which department or position was, or should
be, interviewed for each criterion. The Business Function information can be especially helpful when performing ongoing annual assessments. This data can be filtered to group the responsible business functions/titles and associated criteria to be interviewed during the assessment.

Responsibility
– Used to give the responsible person’s name and/or title of the owner of the criterion response and/or delivery of the action plan as well as any associated details that need to be recorded for both the initial and ongoing annual assessments.

When criteria have been assigned to an alternate business function, the Responsibility should be assigned to the team member for the corresponding business function. Please note that, at the discretion of the organization, those team members can be given access to input their own responses by having the Corporate or Site Administrator create an Assessor user profile for them. In these instances, a team member within the Supply Chain should be assigned as the Alternative assessor, and both team members should be in agreement with the responses before the assessment is finalized.

Reminder:  Please review MMOG/LE 2.2 to ensure that your organization has identified and documented the corresponding work instructions, job descriptions, and training matrices for all employees responsible for participating and updating MMOG/LE Assessments.

MMOG/LE Assessment Tip | MMOG.np Corporate Administrators

All organizations should have at least two Corporate Administrators (C-Admins), but no more than four, assigned in the MMOG.np web portal to manage access to the MMOG/LE Assessments.

If the C-Admin has left the organization and there is not another one assigned, to get the C-Admin reassigned, you will need to contact Odette to update the primary contact on the account. To update the contact, forward the name and email address of the primary contact currently assigned to mmog@odette.org. This person is usually the employee who initially registered the account. You also need to include the name and address of the new primary contact. Odette will assign the new contact the C-Admin role, at which point they can use the Forgot login option on the MMOG.np login page to reset the password.

Once the new C-Admin is assigned, don’t forget to assign at least one additional C-Admin within the organization.

Please review MMOG/LE 2.2 to ensure that your organization has identified and documented the roles and responsibilities for primary and backup administrators for the MMOG.np web portal for the corresponding job descriptions, work instructions, and training matrices.
