The employee that completed the registration process is assigned as the C-Admin.  C-Admins can add and update the user profiles for all users, including other C-Admins.  

Please note that all organizations should have at least two Corporate Administrators (C-Admins), but no more than four, assigned in the MMOG.np web portal to manage access to the MMOG/LE Assessments.

If the C-Admin has left the organization and there is not another one assigned, to get the C-Admin reassigned, you will need to contact Odette to update the primary contact on the account. To update the contact, forward the name and email address of the primary contact currently assigned to mmog@odette.org. This person is usually the employee who initially registered the account. You also need to include the name and address of the new primary contact. Odette will assign the new contact the C-Admin role, at which point they can use the Forgot login option on the MMOG.np login page to reset the password.

Once the new C-Admin is assigned, don't forget to assign at least one additional C-Admin within the organization.

Please review MMOG/LE 2.2 to ensure that your organization has identified and documented the roles and responsibilities for primary and backup administrators for the MMOG.np web portal for the corresponding job descriptions, work instructions, and training matrices.

NOTE:  Only users with the role of  "Company admin" can setup the company and add new sites. 

To confirm who the Company admin is for your organization:

• Log in to the MMOG.np web portal
• Go to the "Edit" menu located in the tool bar
• Select "Users"

To setup your organization:

• Log in to the MMOG.np web portal
• Go to to the "View" menu in the toolbar
• Select “Both views”
• Go to the "Edit" menu in the toolbar
• Select "Company"
• Input the company’s information
  • IMPORTANT NOTE:  Set the “Role” field to “Own organization” from the dropdown menu 
  • When "Own 0rganization" is selected, the "Mailbox address" field should be blank and disabled
  • The "Mailbox address" will be automatically populated after the record is saved
• Input the company's address
• Select  the workflow policy:
  • Standard mode (default)
  • Collaborative mode

A Catalogue/Catalog is the list of criteria that must be assessed.

• The MMOG/LE catalog is currently available for Version 4 and Version 5 in several different languages.
• Organizations must contact their customers to confirm which catalog they are required to complete and submit.
  • • IMPORTANT NOTE:  The requirement could vary by customer, so you must confirm the submission requirements with each individual customer.
• To make assessments in MMOG.np, you must first import the English language catalogue and then import the catalogue in any other language you want to use.

A Profile is the set of MMOG/LE criteria that is applicable to corresponding catalogue.

• There are currently two profiles for the MMOG/LE catalog, Full and Basic.
  • Disclaimer:  The MMOG/LE "Basic" profile is not associated with B.A.S.I.C.S,, LLC (aka BASICS) company.
• The default profile is the Full, which includes ALL criteria included in the catalog.
• The Basic profile, which includes a subset of criteria, was developed specifically for use within the lower tiers of the supply chain while retaining the core fundamental principles of the Full version.
• Organizations must contact their customers to confirm which profile they are required to complete.
  • • IMPORTANT NOTE:  The requirement could vary by customer, so you must confirm the submission requirements with each individual customer.
• If you need to use this profile you will need to import the appropriate file.
  • Basic Profile for Catalogue v4
  • Basic Profile for Catalogue v5

NOTE:  Only users with the role of  "Company admin" can set up new sites. 

1. Log in to the MMOG.np web portal.
2. Go to the "View" menu in the toolbar
3. Select “Both views”
4. Go to the "Edit" menu in the toolbar
5. Select “My partner companies.”
6. Click the “New company” command button.
7. Input your company’s information, but this time, please make sure you set the “Role” to “Own company” from the dropdown menu.
8. After you recreate your company, return to the “Sites” page to create the actual site, even if it is the same location.

Why can't I see the "New site" command button when I go to the "Sites" page?

The most common reason for this issue is that, when setting up your company profile, the "Role" was incorrectly assigned.  To confirm if this error applies to your company:

1. Go to the "Edit" menu.
2. Select “My partner companies”
3. The "Role" in the second column for your company should be set to "Own organization."

If the "Role" is set to "Customer" or "Supplier," please follow these instructions to make the necessary corrections:

1. From the “Companies” page, delete your company.
2. Follow the steps provided above. ⇑

Rather than manually entering the MMOG/LE details of each of your own sites or for your partner companies (customers and suppliers), you can upload them to MMOG.np using the data import templates:

The MMOG/LE v4 Converter Tool is used to:

The Odette MMOG converter tool is used to convert Excel MMOG LE V4 Workbooks into XML files, which can be imported into the MMOG.np web portal.  This is useful when you want to:

• populate a new Assessment in MMOG.np with answers from a previous
  assessment which is in an Excel format,
• import an existing Assessment which is in an Excel format to create an
  historical record in MMOG.np,
• import customer feedback based on an Excel MMOG LE V4 workbook in
  MMOG np.

The convert tool can also be used to convert a MMOG/LE v4.1 Assessment created in MMOG.np into an Excel format.

How to convert and MMOG/LE Assessment:

NOTE:  Only MMOG/LE v4.1 can be converted.  However, v4.1 can be imported into a v5 MMOG/LE Assessment.

• Click on “MMOG-Converter” to open the application

What is the difference between importing and the MMOG/LE v4.1 Excel workbook as a "Historical Assessment" versus importing it as a "New Assessment?"

• When importing a "Historical Assessment," the Assessment is for reference only.  The Assessment status is "Archived" and can NOT be edited.
• When importing a v4.1 Assessment into a "New Assessment," the responses recorded in the "Assessment & Gap Analysis" worksheet of the Excel file are automatically mapped to the corresponding criteria for both version 4 and version 5 assessments.  The Assessment status is "In progress" and can be edited.

Steps for importing an MMOG/LE v4.1 Assessment into the MMOG.np for an internal site:

NOTE:  Only users with the role of  "Company admin" or "Site admin" can create a new MMOG/LE Assessment 

• Log in to the MMOG.np web portal
• Go to the "Edit" menu located in the toolbar
• Select “All Assessments”
• Click the “New assessment” command button located towards the bottom of the screen
• Input the information into the form on the "New assessment" screen
  • If you have uploaded the catalogs for v4.1 and v5, you will have the ability to select which version you want to create
  • If you are creating an MMOG/LE v5 Assessment, upon importing the XML file, the criteria will be automatically mapped from v4.1 to v5
• Check the "Include feedback" box if you want to import the customer feedback recorded in the "Assessment & Gap Analysis" worksheet in the Excel workbook,
• Click the "Select assessment" command button located at the bottom of the form, under “To add answers from an existing assessment, upload an assessment result file."
• From the dialog box, locate and select the MMOG/LE V4.1 results file that was converted to XML,
• Click the "Open" command button on the dialog box.
• Click the "Save" command button to complete the import process.

Using Full or Basic Assessment as a “Diagnostic Tool”

The objective of MMOG/LE is to drive continual improvement throughout the supply chain. However, it is also recommended that MMOG/LE be used to perform assessments where there is a need to establish a quick diagnosis of an organization’s supply chain operation.

Due to time constraints or the urgency of a situation, using the Full assessment may not be the best immediate approach to identify the issues. However, an assessor may find it useful and efficient  to use the Basic assessment to establish what immediate corrective action should be taken.

Additionally, whether the organization is using the Full or Basic assessment, MMOG/LE can be used to target specific supply chain processes that need immediate corrective action. A skilled MMOG/LE assessor will be able to relate critical issues being experienced in the organization with specific MMOG/LE chapters and extract the relevant criteria to use in a diagnostic review.

Experience has shown that this process enables an organization to establish urgent corrective action plans and therefore understand the benefits of using MMOG/LE as a continuous improvement tool.

Scoring Process for Full vs Basic

A percentage score is calculated based on the total score and the maximum available score in each version. However, as there are significantly fewer criteria in the Basic version, the resulting classification cannot be directly compared with the Full version. Therefore, the Full version has classification categories of A, B, and C and the Basic version has different classification categories, namely: ZA, ZB, and ZC.

The tool allows an organization to see their score and classification for both versions. The Full and the Basic have separate Scoring Summary. However, as the results are not directly comparable, a ZA classification in the Basic version will not necessarily be an A classification in the Full version. For example, an organization might achieve a ZA for the Basic version while only scoring a C for the Full version. We strongly recommend that organizations achieving a ZA or ZB classification in the Basic version should then take the time to continue moving forward with improvement plans by performing the Full assessment.

There are three levels of criteria weighting:

• F1 (1pt):

A Supply Chain Management (SCM) process that demonstrates an additional level of control of operational processes, contributing to the organization's overall competitiveness. Complying with F1 criteria contributes to the organization’s long-term sustainability and/or competitiveness.

• F2 (2 pts):

A Supply Chain Management (SCM) process that demonstrates control of operational processes and has significant importance to the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's operations. If an F2 criterion is not met, the organization’s performance and/or customer satisfaction may be seriously affected.

• F3 (3 pts):

A key Supply Chain Management (SCM) process that is a fundamental requirement of the organization's operations. If an F3 criterion is not met, there is a high risk of interruption and/or incurring increased costs to the organization's and/or customer's operations.

MMOG/LE Full vs Basic Assessments

MMOG/LE Classifications Defined - Full Assessment:

• Level "A": 

The organization is compliant in all key criteria and can demonstrate that the supply chain management processes in use at the facility are best practices. Annual assessments are carried out with the goal of ensuring sustainable and best practice processes. In support of continual improvement the development of an action plan should be considered in order to eliminate any remaining unmet criteria. To achieve an MMOG/LE level "A" Assessment, the organization must meet the following requirements:

• 1. Compliant to all F3 criteria,
  2. Non-compliance to less than 9 F2-criteria and,
  3. A total score of 95% or higher.

• Level "B"

Although most of the fundamentals of supply chain management are demonstrated the organization is deficient in several areas that compromises the efficiency of internal performance and may impact its ability to support the needs of the customer. An action plan should be developed and implemented in a timeframe that meets the needs of the business and its customers.  To achieve an MMOG/LE level "B" Assessment, the organization must meet the following requirements:

• 1. Compliance to all F3,
  2. Non-compliance to no more than 15 F2-criteria and,
  3. A total score of 85% or higher.

• Level "C":

The organization is deficient in one or more key areas of supply chain management. This situation creates a high risk of disruption to customers and demonstrates a lack of efficiency and control of internal processes within the existing supply chain strategy. Management commitment will be required to create, prioritize and implement action plans in a timely manner to avoid serious or prolonged issues with the customer.  To achieve an MMOG/LE level "C" Assessment, the organization must meet the following requirements:

1. 1. Non-compliance to any F3 or,
   2. Non-compliance to 16 or more F2-criteria or,
   3. A total score of less than 85%.

MMOG/LE Classifications Defined - Basic Assessment:

• Level "ZA": 

The fundamentals of supply chain management are in place and the organization demonstrates evidence of process controls and continuous improvements efforts. However, the full version of the MMOG/LE Assessment would have to be completed in order to fully understand if industry best practices have been met. To achieve an MMOG/LE level "ZA" Assessment, the organization must meet the following requirements:

• 1. Compliance to all F3 and,
  2. Non-compliance to less than 9 F2-criteria.
  3. A total score is not considered.

• Level "ZB"

Although most of the fundamentals of supply chain management are demonstrated, the organization is deficient in several areas that compromises the efficiency of internal performance and may impact its ability to support the needs of the customer. An action plan should be developed and implemented in a timeframe that meets the needs of the business and its customer(s). To fully understand the level of risk and opportunities for improvement, it is recommended that the organization completes the full version of the assessment. To achieve an MMOG/LE level "ZB" Assessment, the organization must meet the following requirements:

• 1. Compliance to all F3 and,
  2. Non-compliance to 9 to 15 F2-criteria.
  3.  A total score is not considered

• Level "ZC":

The organization is deficient in one or more key areas of supply chain management. This situation  creates a high risk of disruption to customers and demonstrates a lack of efficiency and control of  internal processes within the existing supply chain strategy. Management commitment will be required to create, prioritize and implement action plans in a timely manner to avoid serious or prolonged issues with the customer.  To achieve an MMOG/LE level "ZC" Assessment, the organization must meet the following requirements:

1. 1. Non-compliance to any F3 or,
   2. Non-compliance to 16 or more F2-criteria.
   3. A total score is not considered.

For companies with multiple sites, it is not uncommon to have criteria with similar, if not identical, responses when leveraging corporate resources and standardizing processes and procedures throughout the enterprise. Subsequently, MMOG.np has provided a method for exporting MMOG/LE Assessment responses from one site that can be imported into the MMOG/LE Assessment for another site.  

Steps for importing an MMOG/LE Assessment from another site:

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Only users with the role of "Company Admin" or "Site Admin" can create a new MMOG/LE Assessment.
• When importing Assessments, ALL criteria are imported.  Any responses already recorded will be overwritten.

1. Log in to the MMOG.np web portal.
2. From the "Home" page, click on the MMOG/LE Assessment that has the responses to be exported.

• • NOTE: The user must have the administrative credentials for that corresponding site.
  • Click on the fourth icon in the Toolbox. If you hover over the icons, it says, "Download assessment results." 
  • The file will already be in the XML format, so you will not need to use the converter tool. 
  • Remember to save the file in a location accessible to the site that will be importing it.

3. The user with the proper credentials will need to login to the MMOG.np web portal for that site importing the Assessment.
4. Go to the "Edit" menu located in the toolbar.
5. Select "All Assessments."
6. Click the "New assessment" command button.
7. Input the information into the form on the "New assessment" page.
8. Click the "Select assessment" command button located at the bottom of the form, beneath "To add answers from an existing assessment, upload an assessment result file."
9. From the dialog box, locate and select the XML results file, previously exported.
10. Click the "Open" command button on the dialog box.
11. Click the "Save" command button to complete the import process.

This feature was created for convenience purposes, so organizations with multiple facilities do not have to retype the same responses for shared and standardized processes and procedures. It should NOT be used to complete only one MMOG/LE Assessment to be duplicated and reused by all sites. Once imported, every MMOG/LE Assessment should still be reviewed and updated for each site, incorporating each customer's specific requirements. Please remember that all assessments are subject to review by your customer(s).

• Open the MMOG/LE Assessment from the previous year.
• Download the assessment using the fourth icon in the Toolbox.

Make a note of the location where the file was saved.

• Select All Assessments from the Edit menu.
• Click the New assessment command button at the bottom of the Assessments for customers web page.
• Update fields for current year's MMOG/LE Assessment
• At the bottom of the screen, click the Select assessment command button.
• Locate and import the previous MMOG/LE Assessment that was downloaded.

Please note it is an XML file.

• Click Save

Suppliers must confirm the MMOG/LE submission requirements with each individual customer, as the requirements could vary by customer, including:

Tracking MMOG/LE submission status depends on which method is used to exchange data to meet compliance:

• The ONLY way to track the submission status in MMOG.np is when it is sent using MMOG.np mailbox service.

• If the customer requires the assessment to be manually uploaded into their customer portal or emailed in any format, the organization will need find an alternative way to track the submission status with these customers.

• The method of exchange is determined by each individual customer.

How to Deal with Customer Feedback User Guide (pdf)

How to Review Supplier Assessments User Guide (pdf)

It is strongly recommended that organizations that have multiple facilities submitting MMOG/LE Assessments only have ONE parent account for the MMOG/LE web portal.

Once the parent account has been created, each facility will still need to purchase an individual license that includes security controls at the site level. Our records indicate that several parent companies have more than one account because each facility purchased its own license, creating separate ecosystems across one enterprise. By using this approach, organizations will be unable to take advantage of pending releases that will allow them to download, review, and analyze data across the enterprise. Furthermore, as these new features are released, customers may request consolidated reports, which suppliers will have to complete manually if the ecosystems are not consolidated.

As part of the MMOG/LE help desk support, BASICS will assist organizations with the consolidation process.  However, this is only a free complimentary service for the 2021-2022 assessment year. With each year that passes, the process becomes more complicated because more sites and assessments will need to be consolidated. Subsequently, organizations could be subjected to a consulting fee beginning with the 2022-2023 assessment year, so we encourage suppliers to take advantage of this service as soon as possible.  

Please be advised that this service is available by appointment only and, depending on the size and complexity of the organization, the consolidation process could be a multi-day process.

She also has a BS in Information Technology, and multiple professional certificates, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Business Analysts (BA), Agile Certified Professional (ACP), and ITIL.

Ms. Doby was introduced to MMOG/LE in 2001 as a supplier when she assigned as the MMOG/LE Assessor for her employer. She eventually became the Corporate Delivery Champion, overseeing the MMOG/LE compliance for multiple facilities.

In 2006, Ms. Doby began working for Ford Motor Co, where she led the MP&L endorsement process. In this role, she was responsible for reviewing and signing off on the MMOG/LE supplier submissions as part of the Q1 petition process.

Ms. Doby joined the AIAG/Odette Global MMOG/LE Committee in 2007, comprised of global industry experts responsible for the continual evaluation and development of MMOG/LE, which included representatives from multiple OEMs, and in 2008 she became one of its co-chairs.

In 2010, Ms. Doby began working General Motors, where she launched MMOG/LE and Risk Management for GM Supply Chain, responsible for assessing, developing, and training thousands of suppliers globally.

In 2020, with 20 years of experience with MMOG/LE, Ms. Doby finally decided to venture out and launch her own consulting business. She aspires to leverage her expertise with MMOG/LE to support other organizations to complete their assessments, identify gaps, assist with developing action plans and solutions, and, ultimately, obtain compliance and build a world-class supply chain operation.
